A handful of theater, a few tablespoons of teaching experience, and a pot full of interpreting experience. Interpreting has been Ivo’s bread and butter for the past 13+ years. He has worked all around the world, in places as varied as Parliament buildings, presidential palaces, the UN headquarters in New York, the reactor hall at a nuclear power plant, and a Roma settlement.
The most satisfying part of the job for Ivo is when he can use his experience to help others. He shares his insights, experience and “tricks of the trade” with his students at Comenius University, where he teaches interpreting and translation.
